Shah Rukh Khan’s Betaal Zombie-Horror Thriller Web-Series Can Give You Nightmares. Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan‘s new web-series ( Betaal ) as a producer, Betaal’s trailer is out. Netflix recently dropped the trailer of the much-awaited series Betaal and wrote, “We’re equal parts afraid and excited. Okay, maybe a little more afraid.” Betaal web series which stars Vineet Kumar, Aahana Kumra, Suchitra Pillai, Jitendra Joshi, Manjiri Pupala, and Syna Anand in the leading roles.

The horror and spine chilling web-series tell the story of a CIPD (Counter Insurgency Police Department) team tasked to unleash the curse of Betaal mountain by two-century-old East India Company Colonel and his battalion of blood-thirsty zombie redcoats that wreak havoc on the people and threatens to end civilization.

Puniya is a tribal woman who has witnessed her village being torn apart and is thus filled with anger and angst. When the Betaal curse is cast upon her village, she is caught in the battle between the evil zombies and the CIPD forces.

This is my first project with Netflix and I am super excited about the association. Actor Shah Rukh Khan’s produced thriller-horror Netflix Original series Betaal is set to release on May 24. Ahead of its premiere, the streaming giant shared new stills from the show starring Viineet Kumar Singh and Aahana Kumra.
