Bhuj: The Pride of India.The film stars Ajay Devgan, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharad Kelkar, Nora Fatehi, Sanjay Dutt, Ammy Virk among others. While producer Bhushan Kumar has confirmed the project is 90 percent complete, there’s still a lot of VFX work left on the film. As it is known that the film was supposed to arrive on Independence Day, it is unclear whether that would be possible now amid coronavirus outbreak.
Naveen Paul, VFX supervisor and Co-Founder & Creative Head - NY VFXwala, recently revealed to a daily that they are constantly working from home to complete the film. As it is set in the 1971 Indo-Pak war backdrop, the visual effects play an important role in the film. They want the visual effects to look seamlessly photo-real. Naveen has worked with Ajay Devgn on Shivaay besides Sanjay Leela Bhansali on Padmaavat. He said that the VFX has been used in the film to recreate what happened during the war. It hasn’t been easy since they had to go back to 50 years to recreate the era. He revealed that the war scenes have been designed to take the audience to the war field. Ajay Devgn will be essaying the role of Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik, who was in charge of the Bhuj airport during the 1971 Indo-Pak war.

Ajay Devgn To Crack A Multi Film Deal With Disney+ Hotstar Including Bhuj, The Big Bull & Chhalaang? The closing of theatres following the lockdown due to COVID-19 outbreak has led filmmakers to opt for a digital release. Seems like, joining the trend is Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn. Reportedly, the actor has almost cracked a deal with Disney+ Hotstar to release three of his films and below are all the deets. If reports are to go by, Ajay Devgn has shortlisted three of his projects including, his next acting venture Bhuj: The Pride Of India and produced films The Big Bull and Chhalaang. Reportedly, the decision came after no date of theatres opening was insight. According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, a source close to the development said, “It’s a three-film deal and the actor (Ajay Devgn) is being offered a big chunk of money.
While Bhuj shoot is almost complete with just patchwork remaining, Big Bull and Chhalaang are currently in the post-production stage.” The source also added that the team with Ajay Devgn are working on the post-production and patchwork of Bhuj. The final decision will be taken in a week. The Big Bull stars Abhishek Bachchan and is being produced by Ajay Devgn. The film follows the happenings in the financial market from 1990 to 2000. Is also follows the much talked about Harshad Mehta and his financial crimes. As for Rajkummar Rao and Nushrat Bharucha’s Chhalaang, it is a social commentary directed by Hansal Mehta.
